| Where can I get Kosher dessert for Passover? And what do you recommend? Preferably NWDC or MD suburbs. |

A Chabad Lubavitch site suggests these locations are kosher bakeries
Moti's Market; 4860 Boiling Brook Parkway, Rockville; 301-468-0400 Shalom Kosher; 1361 Lamberton Dr, Silver Spring, MD 20902; 301-946-6500 Kosher Pastry Oven; 1372 Lamberton Dr., Silver Spring; 301-592-8844 |
| Thanks. Does anyone else have any suggestions for what to bring for dessert for Passover? |
| A pavlova is kosher. And for a dairy meal- matzo toffee chocolate crackers are the best thing! |
| Also could I easily pick it up Friday afternoon? |
| Make it’s kosher for Passover not regular kosher. |
| What’s does koosher mean? |

I’m not clicking weird links, thanks for nothing. |
Dictionaries are weird. They keep adding words to English without any sort of consensus from the public, and that's not democracy! |
At Safeway, yes. But kosher stores are likely to be closed Friday afternoon for Shabbat, and maybe closed Friday morning. |
Does it have to be fancy? If not, many supermarkets have chocolate-covered matzoh. You can make your own too, but only if the people eating it are not Orthodox, as to be fully kosher for Passover, you first have to empty your entire house of any bread products and only (not to mention that you probably don't separate your meat and dairy plates/cutlery).
|
| Sounds like I should pick it up today then. Yes kosher for Passover. |
| There are a few good choices at the Wheaton Costco, including a layer cake that my family prefers to the homemade version I used to make (one less thing for me to do, so I'm cool with it). |

Coconut macaroons are very very easy to make and really yummy. You can skip the almond extract if you don’t have any.
