He started the press conference with a prayer and literally said "I pray God would send his messages through my mouth"...then proceeded to tell lie after lie.

I fear this just about captures what's happening with right-wing politics in America: lie, cheat, corrupt, hoard money, and use God as a shield.

I grew up Christian and used to go to church. DH was catholic and had a similar childhood. We both now don't want to affiliate with religion because it is used as an excuse to hurt, subjugate and discriminate so many people.

Not sure what the problem is here. This is typical politician behavior. Both sides do it, and leaders have done it for thousands of years.

Adams stepped out of line by talking about the burden the migrant crisis was placing on NYC, so the democrats are out to get him. They tried using a court case, but that’s now over, so they are running people against him. So he’s now running as an independent.

I have to wonder if op’s post is part of some effort to discredit him online.

He’s a grifter, a poorer Trump. He needs to leave the office in disgrace. His corruption charges were dropped by the Trump organization in exchange for his cooperation with ICE.

I think a person can go to a church and it calms them and they feel better after. But the scammers are taking them over. It’s pretty sad.
