How does County justify subsidizing LS?

County will be partnering with LS to add turf fields to Bolen or where? LS will pay to returf LSP and where else? They will be given almost exclusive access to these new fields, if not exclusive. How can this be justified on taxpayer funds and property? Bolen or Hansen? Will they relocate to the new fields in Willowsford fully funded by County? Looks like county will be installing the four lighted fields in Willowsford after all...despite promises this would be scaled back.

Wealthiest county in the nation (median household income) plus the coffers are overflowing from all that data center money. I'd rather have them build fields before data centers.

Loudoun County has some of the best public sports fields and facilities that I have seen.

I imagine the access is due to Loudoun Soccer being classified as a non-profit organization. I think all the soccer clubs based in the county are for profit.

From the LS website: JK seeks approval for light industrial/warehouse development only; they are prevented by contract from developing a data center

If/when they own the land JK can do whatever it wants with it, providing they go through the proper zoning procedures. A pinky promise with LS will not prevent a data center in the future if that’s what JK wants (I have no idea what they want).
