I haven’t read the book, but I’m curious about Trump’s “deal making.” Is it just bullying and making other parties beg for concessions, like a Mafia boss? What is the Trump Corporation’s reputation among business people in New York?

The tariffs aren’t an economic tool. They’re a crude extortion tool to destroy democracy and compel loyalty from countries and businesses, who will receive relief if they bend the knee and eliminate DEI, etc. Mafia tactic.
