Gas mileage in hybrids

Never had a hybrid before. If you have one and commute to work at least a few days a week, how much difference do you notice in your gas mileage now? Do you really feel the difference?

I have a Kia Niro hybrid. In warmer weather I get about 55 mpg. In cold weather it drops to around 40-50 mpg, or even a bit lower if it's super cold.

Toyota Prius 2023 model gets 50-60 mpg. Great to fill up with $25 and get 500 miles.
