Hotel Recommendation Outer Banks

I’m looking for recommendations for a nice hotel in the Outer Banks. Not a rental house. Not the Hilton Garden Inn in Kittyhawk. Would like a hotel on the beach with a pool and restaurant/bar.

Sanderling might work. But what you want might also just not exist. It’s not really a hotel sort of place.

Ramada Inn Nags Head or Hampton Inn Corolla

Sanderling is the only one. There is a newer Town Plaxe suites that is probably better than the Hilton Garden Inn. Otherwise it’s just not a hotel place.
