Has his staff bake him cookies and serve meals.
MAGA: this is not allowed, feds have a TON of rules to follow and he’s breaking several here. Please learn how government works and what feds do. https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2025/04/burgum-cookies/682319/ |
They are all grifters |
Good lord. Didn't they have to run Ryan Zinke out on rails during the first Trump administration? These Interior Secretaries are little Napoleons. |
This article is glorious. Some highlights: His office leadership once instructed political appointees to act as servers for a multicourse meal. They also dispatched a U.S. Park Police helicopter for his personal transportation. On at least one occasion, a political appointee was told to remake the cookies because the batch was subpar, according to three people. |

Yikes. Kinda regretting that I sent that guy a dollar to get a $20 gift card. |
I did the same, donated $20 to local abortion clinic, and never did get the damn gift card. |
I got the gift card...and I also got my contact information sold to every GOP candidate and PAC. Never again. |
Hahahaha!!! Dummy ![]() |
Did you read the rest of the article? All of the incidents are explained and truly sound like no big deal. None of it is anywhere near as salacious as that one paragraph makes it out to be. What's interesting is that this obviously came from the political appointees. I wonder who's trying to take him down from the inside. |
so are all the federal rules about ethics, conflicts of interest and abuse of power basically...gone?

How is this different than all the Mid day potlucks through our the state department that has been going on for decades |
How is a staff potluck different from the agency head throwing herself a giant birthday party on the government dime? Gosh I do not know. It is very confusing. |
Do they schedule the potlucks to coincide with lots of Feds being let go? Are the potlucks organized by new bosses to compel employees to celebrate them? Is there a possibility that these potlucks are funded by tax revenue? |
