Moving schools. AAP enrollment

Anonymous
We will be moving school pyramids within FCPS next fall. We already own the property but are making improvements before we physically move. DD is upcoming 3rd grader who was accepted into AAP.

Id like to attend the orientation for the new pyramid AAP center and enroll her at that center. When/how do I get her enrolled ?appropriately?

Currently I can only see our current school and center on the AAP login.

I would call the registrar at the new school and explain your situation. If you already own the property, you should be free to register your child(ren) with no problems as long as you can show the Deed.

Unless you have advised them of the situation, they likely have not changed the records.

If you have contract to buy or show that you already bought the property, that will suffice for the registrar at the new school.

You just enroll your child when you move at the appropriate school - it doesn't matter if it's a center or not. You can call to talk to the AART at both schools AFTER you close on the house. They are not going to talk to you if you're just looking.

Did you read the post? They already own the new property.
