Kindergarten AAC/Communication Program

| DC needs kindergarten program with intensive speech/language therapy. Anyone have experience with the AAC classes and program in MCPS for K-2? Saw it on the website and there are two locations, Beall ES and Cannon Rd ES. Any other programs like this in the area too? |

| DC has had two AAC evals and devices have been recommended. AAC device and services are on preschool IEP. We are just in the beginning stages. |

| DC is in speech therapy, getting a device, and will need a kindergarten class focused on communication and speech/language. |

Plus 1. They are going to need to look over the reports and get InterACT involved to make a recommendation. You can ask to observe the classroom. Do it now before the school year ends.
