| I’m a RPCV, as are most of my now unemployed colleagues. We were in international public health, and maybe 80% of people in our field are RPCVs. I will be so sad to see it decapitated, in particular as it comes right on the heels of all of us losing our careers. |

This is precisely what is going on. I'd rather fund the Peace Corp with my tax money rather than have the DOGE kids big salaries and Elon a tax break. |

Yes I am an RPCV. Many of my group went on to State Department and USAID. I was frequently envious of their route because I returned stateside and became a mom. But I'm currently in a stable job so I guess it turned ok for me.
Peace Corps has a lot of issues but the budget is so small it is silly to cut the program. Makes sense that they would try to kill an idealistic Kennedy-era program for do-gooders. |
