| Anyone have any information on what Loudoun East will be all about? |
| Its associated in some way with a rec group that started last year called Deportivo Sterling. |
Probably what every other club is all about - money. |
Loudoun East ran tryouts in March without releasing the coaching slate prior. Only Rec kids( Sterling Deportivo) showed up for tryouts. AVOID. |
| No one thought ahead of them being marketed as "LEAST" ...should have picked a better name |
| It’s a new program for young age groups and run by well known developmental coaches. I wouldn’t avoid based on an anonymous post on this board. |
| Seems like Loudoun is trying to get their feet into Fairfax County. |
| Sterling is Loudoun County. |
| It is but it is also much closer than Leesburg. |
| These fields are in very close proximity to Herndon and Great Falls/N. Reston. Seems like they're making a play to rope in disenfranchised players from that area as well as the Sterling area. Hope they don't screw it up. Last thing people in that area need is 3 dysfunctional soccer clubs. |
My current count is already more than 3 🤔 |
| If you want to play travel soccer, play at Loudoun. There is no reason to have Loudoun East except for revenue generating and tax reasons. This is basically a rec team |
No reason other than providing the eastern part of Loudoun a chance to train and play closer to home. By your logic; "There's no reason to play for GFR, HYS or Vienna because you can play for Loudoun or Alexandria" |
I don't think you got the context correct. what does it got to do with two different clubs? Unless you are admitting that loudoun and loudoun east are two different clubs... It's like you are saying "There is no reason to play for GFR west, if you can play for GFR. " |
| Or Londoun GA instead of NVA totally males sense now |
