Mazda CX-30

What are your thoughts about the Mazda CX-30? If you have one, if you decided not to get one, if you’re thinking about it, if you liked it but ultimately bought something else—I’d love to hear your thoughts.

I’m considering buying a 2025 that has about 1,300 miles. Price is $29k.

I like my 2022 CX-30. Only issue has been a twice-failing thermostat - it's a known issue with the car and is covered by an extended warranty. The second time I had it replaced (last month), they told me they redesigned the part so it should be fine now. We'll see.

Happy to answer any questions you may have.

Thanks, PP!
Are the things you like the most and the least about the car? (I asked the guy at the dealership what people complain the most about and he said the lack of room in the back for passengers.) Would you buy another one? Or, if you had it to do over, would you still buy it?
It seems like a very cute car and the price seems pretty good.

Smaller than you think, and horrible blind spots. Get the CX-5 instead.

I had a Cx-3 for 14 years and it was a great car. I test drove the cx-30 and found the seats to be very comfortable and I liked the way it drove but I felt like it didn't have enough visibility especially out the back window. I ended up with a CX-5 (2021) and absolutely love it.

I like the design and driver seat comfort the most - but note I'm a small woman who typically slides around in car seats. My biggest gripe is visibility issue (especially caused by the B pillars). The back seat is very tight for adults.

I would buy another one for my current lifestyle (single, no kids), but would upgrade to a CX-5 if I had a family or carpooled frequently.
