2025 CRV passenger seat height

Anonymous
We have a 2025 CRV EX-L on hold, but my main concern is passenger seat height. I ride in that seat most of the time, and as a 5 foot 4 inch woman, I like to be upright a bit in SUVs. Our other options have more maintenance issues (Tiguan, XC60), but have height adjustable seats. Do any CRV owners car to weigh in on the passenger seat? I have sat in it and it felt lower than optimal, but will I likely get used to it?

I have a 2023 and it is low! My teen DD who is short prefers to sit in the back. We have the lowest trim. I thought maybe with the higher trim you could adjust it like the driver's seat?

OP here and sadly, no. No Honda's have height adjustable passenger seats from what I can tell. The EX-L only has power adjustable passenger recline, forward/backward. How tall is your teen? I'm really struggling with this decision. I appreciate the feedback.

I have a 2021 CRV, am 5'2" and don't think it's too low - and my previous car was a minivan

^^ I am pp, and want to add that on long trips, we take the CRV (husband has a tiny commuter car), and he drives and I sit in the passenger seat, no problem about it being too low

Is the CRV seat height too low for you when you drive? Thats the priority. I’m not sure I follow why seat height for passenger is a deal breaker.

She is only 4'11" with a short torso and longer legs so that probably makes a difference. I am 5'3" with a longer torso and short legs and I am fine in the front passenger spot though I am definitely glad I can be higher up when I'm the one driving.

A lower seat makes your legs more comfortable if you are short. Don’t see what op issue is, does she need to help navigate a clueless spouse?

Thanks - that is helpful! Sounds like it might not be so bad for me.

I’m not the one driving. We are a one car family and all go to school/work and then DH goes to his nearby office. So the passenger seat comfort is a big deal to me.

I’m not exactly short, but I like to sit more upright. Was just looking at feedback on the comfort of a lower seat.

Our Subaru has a low passenger seat. At the time we bought it, we were told that it is safer for the passenger seat to be lower.

What does comfort have to do with height?

I'm 5'3". I haven't noticed that the passenger seat is particularly low. It's perfectly comfortable -- it's the car we use for long road trips and I have no complaints.

I'm not comfortable if I feel too low.
