How difficult to change hardware on Crate & Barrel dresser?

| We’re considering getting a dresser from Crate & Barrel but may want to change the hardware. I’m wondering if anyone’s done this before and if it was easy enough to do with their furniture. |

| Not sure about your specific piece but it can be as easy as unscrewing the existing and screwing in the replacement as long as the length matches. |

| Just the knobs on a dresser. They’re brass and we may want to switch to matte black. |

That is the easiest thing. You unscrew the old one and screw in the new one. The difficulty would be if you wanted to go from pulls to knobs or vice versa as then you would have holes to cover. What you want to do is super easy. |
