My doc wants me to take zepbound but my insurance does not cover that class of drugs.
What is an affordable way to take this medication? It looks like there is a savings program which knocks $100 off monthly, but then it is still hundreds of dollars a month. Any tips? |

| There is not a more affordable option than "hundreds of dollars a month" for non-compound tirzepatide. You can order directly, cash pay, from Lily Direct, but I think that's in the neighborhood of $500. |
| for what reason does your doctor want you to take this that your ins is denying you? |
| Vials are cheaper, starting at $350 for 2.5mg and $499 for higher doses. |
| If you have sleep apnea, insurance will pay for zepbpund |

I think Lilly direct is offering it a bit cheaper.

| I’m glad insurance isn’t covering this. I don’t want my premiums to go up even more so all my neighbors can be thin. |
Because every single insurance plan is exactly the same Just because your does doesn't mean someone else's will.

A lot of people who go on these medications are able to reduce their healthcare costs. My MIL was able to go off insulin after 20+ years thanks to Mounjaro |
Insulin is $35/month for those on Medicare. |
| Mounjaro is the exact same medication. I've been on it for years. You can get a savings card from the manufacturer which reduces the cost to about $550 per month. |
| Try Fifty410.com. It is a bit cheaper than LillyDirect. |

No, instead they'll go up because of all the people with heart disease or who need knee replacements. |
