Outreach ideas

Trying to come up with voter and issue outreach (geared to women, predominantly though not exclusively) for a group I'm part of.
What are some of the best ideas you have seen/attended? Looking for lots of ideas (beyond direct emails, podcasts, rallies)? Anything creative out there that you were wowed by?

The Shout Your Abortion thing was an interesting example. Number One issue for many female voters, majorly attention getting. Moved the Overton Window . Helped us get off the somewhat self-defeating stance of “abortion should be safe, legal, and rare and onto a much more full throated defense of women’s reproductive rights and the dangerous threats posed by right wing old white men. It became an interactive social media phenomenon. Cathartic for many. Engaging. Check it out. Way better than most one-way outreach.

May I don’t think it should be glorified We should allow it as easy to access prodceduee for incest and rape

Instead, we should give out free birth control at schools at the age of menses . That should be “shouted” and demanded

This will make abortion unnecessary except when a person is forcefully inseminated

The Cory booker talk yesterday got 350M likes on TT yesterday. I’d start there. I spoke with a college-aged client today and she said there was tons of positive talk about it.

That’s a negative message. How about focusing on universal issues that Democrats have an unbroken track record of supporting and fighting for and flooding the field with those messages?

R you tube and twitter videos are all debate - they are Really good and the kids love them

Weird isn’t it? If you have not noticed the reversal, then you are not paying attention.

So I say start w debate… use the booker apology. Gen z and youth love debate and counter culture anyway. It has to do with how they were educated.

Potus is counter culture . Regain the spirit and fun of it, and we might have a chance

I dont want my public school introducing my child to birth control. That is a conversation between me and my child.
