I am wondering about the post-lottery application and admission to Ellington. Has anyone ever dealt with doing the application for an open seat late and what was the process like?

DESA seems much more available now for emails and questions now that the initial rush has calmed a bit.

The post-lottery process is different. I have talked to 3 advisors at MySchoolDC in the last week to understand how my kid’s rankings and applications work! They are awesome there, btw, if you haven’t called them perhaps start there and also talk to admissions at DESA if you can.
