Audi allroad?

Looking for a family car. Must use gas not electric because we take long road trips. Keep seeing the Audi all-road and not a fan of big SUVs.

What are its pros/cons?

I have friends who love it. A6 All Road is bigger - depends on how much you need to haul. Engines are sporty.

All Road is likely going to be our next car. We currently drive a Subaru Outback with young two kids and the wagon is the perfect size. The new Outback design for 2026 is getting rid of the wagon and will look like a boring, unremarkable mid-sized SUV. Very sad.

The Outback already looks like an SUV. It’s got as much ground clearance as a Jeep Wrangler FFS! What are you talking about?

Plan ahead, they are sold on allocation/ special order. I couldn't even find a used one to test drive when I was looking at them. At the time dealers where telling me 6-8 months but certain color/ option combinations couldn't even be guaranteed to be built inna particular model year.

America hates wagons. If you see one, buy it.

A4 allroad is tight in the back seats and the trunk is pretty small. I really dislike driving turbo 4s. That’s said about the engines, I do think outbacks are a better family car. The touring trims can feel really nice, but the new ones do have turbo 4’s.
