Potential Move to London in the Fall ... housing

Anonymous
I haven't been to London in many years, so curious what neighborhoods people would recommend for up to $5500? Ideally a three bedroom, 2 bath. One grade school child. Not sure what school they will be at yet.

How soon will you know the school?

Um, do you have an expat package? I would only recommend private healthcare with the state of the NHS

Furnished will cost so much more.

You could get something in Chiswick or Shoreditch w 3 BDR 2 BA but I would call it family-friendly or tops of the Good Schools Guide. Could you raise your budget?

That is a decent budget. Private or state schools? The latter are very complicated- very small catchment areas for good schools etc.
London is huge and there are many nice areas. Decide on the school and commute first and then think about where to live.

Yes, don't make any decisions without knowing where work and school will be.
