| Business major. Which would you pick and why? |
| I'd pick Elon for the beauty of the campus, the school's rising popularity and the Love School of Business. |
| Wherever is less expensive. If you are in state Virginia, then JMU. |

I feel like they have similar vibes. Which does your child prefer? Is there a big cost difference?
I don't feel like one would be significantly better than the other. |
| Mine chose Elon, not in-state for JMU. |
| Cost isn’t a factor. Thanks for the feedback, so far! |
| For those that it is a factor, JMU is 1/2 as much as Elon so it is significant. In state about $32k vs $60k, not even counting if they study abroad as 90% of Elon students do. |
| Absolutely Elon. |
OP here. Appreciate this notation for people that reference thread later. Undergraduate class size also different. Elon 6,000 vs JMU 20,000. If cost isn’t a factor, student body size could very much be a consideration. |
| Elon's campus is one the prettiest I have ever seen but it is located in absolutely the middle of nowhere. |
| Mine chose Elon for size, geographic diversity, focus on strong relationships with professors, and experiential learning. Niece attended JMU from oos, introvert, had a rough first semester homesick, but ended up loving it in the end. Both great options! |
That’s a benefit for some parents, lol.
|
| JMU 100% |
| Mine got into both and eliminated Elon pretty quickly. He felt it was a little too artsy. But it is a beautiful campus and the kids we know there are happy. |
