Upscale beach resort in NJ, DE, maybe MD

Anonymous
We will have a six month old this summer and would love to go the Winnetu in Martha’s Vineyard. For some logistical reasons, that’s not an option.

What are similar upscale beach resorts in NJ, Delaware, or possibly Maryland? We would love one with delicious room service (being realistic about dining with a baby), a heated pool, and easy beach access.

Thank you!

Maybe the Bellmoor? Haven’t been there in years though

Op here - we are not kidding! Getting up to MV feels too complicated with a little baby + baby stuff. But we are hoping for a nice few days at the beach!

Congress Hall in Cape May, or Icona in Avalon might work

Maybe in the inn at Perry cabin, but really there are no luxury beachfront resorts in MD, DE or NJ.
Cheasapeke bay Hyatt, but the food is not good and it’s on a river not the beach.
The Bellmoor, while nice, isn’t on the beach, and the Rehoboth restaurants that are nice aren’t baby friendly.

We love Rehoboth. But you can’t compare the beaches here to MV.

Bethany Beach Ocean Suites is by far the best option for this. We started going at about that age. Hotel is part of Marriott.

Congress Hall is part of a group of historic hotels and you have access to all their amenities. We stayed at a house across from the Virginia Hotel and it was fantastic. But it’s an old house so I wouldn’t recommend it if your kids are noisy. But check out all their properties.

The Bellmoor has easy beach access though (2 or 3 blocks?) which is all she asked for.

I would not consider 2-3 blocks easy beach access with a 6 month old.

It’s literally a residence inn.
