Are There Fewer Teslas on the Roads Now or Only in Old Town Alexandria? Saw Only 3 in 2+ Hours

Anonymous
spent 2+ hours around Old Town earlier today and saw only 1 tesla on a street and 1 in a boat club parking lot and and 1 parked on street. that's it. not sure why i started trying to look for them but it was just so surprising to me - 1st time visiting Old Town in 2 years. of course i'd missed a few but still way less than any typical NoVa streets i believe. Perhaps it was never popular around Old Town or its neighboring jurisdictions, or, we are seeing actual changes or a trend. i respect everyone's choice of buying/keeping a car but if Old Town people really are selling their teslas now that's quite impressive.

Many people are unloading their swastikars.

And taking a huge hit to do so. Not sure what that is "proving" as it’s only hurting them.

Its doing a lot. It's one of the reasons why Elon is backing off the government and trying to focus on his businesses

It’s hurting them financially, a little bit.

It’s doing wonders for their conscience, though.

I saw two in Alexandria today in 30 seconds, that refused to stop for me (and others) in a crosswalk.

Teslaholes are still very much around.

People selling used Teslas do not hurt Tesla at all. They already got paid for that car. Try again.

I live in Bethesda, where every 4th car is a Tesla.

Every 4th car is still a Tesla. However since the latest recall, I don't see Cybertrucks anymore, which is marked improvement, as those are death traps.

I don't fault Tesla owners for keeping their cars. Most of them bought some time ago.

Buying a used Tesla can also mean not buying a new one. So the person who makes money isn't Musk, it's the Tesla seller.

I'm not driving my Tesla to certain parts of NOVA - the protesters get in your face sometime. I support the protesters, wont buy another one until Elon is kicked out.

It's a good car. The Tesla team that created it was/is not Elon - he's just the glorified spokesman. He didn't startup Tesla - 2 other dudes did. He didn't come up with the innovations his team did. He even said the EV Car was bound to happen with/without him that was before maga-Elon appeared.

Hope the board throws him out and we can go back to the EV revolution.

There are so many other EVs now. The EV revolution can happen even if people are not buyign Teslas.

In McLean I see them everywhere like 3 or 4 in a row.

They’re still all over Arlington.

What I have not been seeing is a cyber truck, is that because of the recall?

True and BYD is beginning to dominate internationally. The price of FSD is a full car from BYD and BYD includes(for "free") FSD in cars than can handle it.

I just want to drive my Tesla without looking like a ... I got mine when Fed Credit wasn't in place so it's a lot of money to make a political statement. My next car this year will not be a Tesla as you said a lot of good options.
