Question: Arlington Soccer trave birth year 2009

New to Arlington. Kid is playing on an Arlington rec team. Saw announcement about tryouts for travel and see that for those players born in 2009 that tryouts are by invite only. We have not been through this before - can anyone share what this is like / how the invite works? TIA

Just reach out to one of the coaches directly, ARL has 4 or 5 teams at that age group, all different levels...if you dd is good, they will find a spot for her!

Its unusual for kids to join travel at 17u which is what 2009 is for the upcoming season. That's why its invite only... typically they aren't trying to add lower level players and are getting rid of lower level teams.

Arlington teams are from top to bottom: ECNL, red, white, blue, black.

Usually at this age they start to combine teams at the high school age as not as many kids play e.g. a 2008/2009 Blue team.
