Sometimes it's a slog to get through comments and recaps on websites because it seems people lack a basic understanding of media literacy. This is something that has emerged in the past decade or so. Does anyone remember interesting discussions on Televison without Pity or other forums? Maybe because it's a constant media onslaught we're just consuming content and have no idea what we ate, but it doesn't stop us from discussing it. I don't know. It just sort of makes me sad.
