The rest of the world has their own issues dealing with the shift in the global order. Spending a moment "protesting" for the US seems a waste of effort.

There will be protests worldwide on April 5. There have been — and will continue to be protests of Tesla worldwide.
People are protesting both to support non-MAGA Americans and because of the impact that the changes being implemented by Trump and Musk —from tariffs to threats have and will have on their lives.there have also been more specific protests such as the ones in Greenland. It’s not hard to find.

They can protest all they like. There have been protests against the U.S. since its founding 249 years ago. It won't do much good because most foreign countries need the U.S. more than the U.S. needs them. Trump is doing what he believes is in the best long term interests of the U.S. Feel free to disagree, but having won the election, he is the President right now and is setting foreign policy. Better yet, come up with another way to solve the problem that doesn't involve tax increases.

Actually, everything that Trump is doing will make other countries stop “needing” the US — and, perhaps more importantly, stop trusting the US. The US is now cut off from intelligence information, and that’s just the start. How long will it take before US military bases in other countries will no longer be tolerated? Or before more countries develop nukes? Or before terrorism increases — as more people who benefitted from USAID support decide that they have nothing to lose?

If MAGA wants to return to the ‘50s - start with the tax rates.

There were major protests when this administration first took office that werent being reported in US news. They are all over TikTok if you search for them under #GlobalTok #WorldTok protests or maga protests.

One from 6 days ago where protest was in Canada and Americans joined on the other side of the water in Michigan in solidarity.

Other countries will still need access to U.S. markets for their goods/services. As for not trusting, the U.S. has far greater intelligence gathering capabilities than most, if not all other nations. More importantly, it offers some of the most advanced weapons systems and platforms available. If the EU wishes to evict U.S. bases, it is likely that the U.S. will withdraw from NATO - leaving the EU to fend for itself. Other countries will develop nuclear weapons regardless of the U.S. positions on the world stage. Just look at what North Korea and what Iran is doing now. USAID would not stop any of this from happening.
