Does anyone know when the last day of school is?

Nobody will bother going on Monday. And teachers will start telling kids not to come that day a few weeks out.

Don’t they still have another snow-day makeup to assign? I thought they put in another request that was ultimately refused by the state, and they said they’d announce how it would be made up at a later date.

But my kid is a senior, so admittedly, I haven’t paid much attention to the regular last day of school.

Whatever happened to the waiver that MCPS requested for 2/12 (which was the 4th snow day)? The only info I can find says, "An update on the 2024-2025 calendar will be shared in the coming weeks."

Yes, and that was posted on 2/26. I'm surprised nothing has been communicated by now.

I’m the PP with a senior, and that’s the one I was thinking of. I assumed I’d just missed an update somewhere, but maybe not.

Yeah, I’m pretty happy my kid is a senior. Their time at MCPS has overall been pretty great, but I’m ready to gripe about the incompetence of college administrators for a change.
