JFC the white house double downed on the disparity. |
Ya, we know. The throughline to everything this administration does is "retribution." It's the only uniting theme. Plus a lot of grift.
They have no intention of making anything better for all Americans, for improving this country, for tackling the debt. They want to enrich themselves and destroy any perceived enemies. That is it. And frankly, that's their supporters voted for. They don't care if other people get hurt-- as long as it's not them. They welcome it. |
God forbid we try to get the judicial branch to act and balance the powers. Our country is so f'd right now. We are absolutely helpless without any balance. |
This is incredible. When the Repubilcans lose Congress, as they will in the midterms (if not earlier), Democrats will have no reason to talk to Republicans at all - if they are happily reneging on negotiations made in good faith like this.
This unilateral partisanship is extremely short-sighted, as are most of Trump's decisions. The medium-term and long-term consequences are terrible for him and the Republican party, not to mention the American people. Some Republicans know this and are speaking out, a little bit. More of them need to do more. |
We're helpless because Trump and his team don't believe in checks & balances. What good is the courts when they don't care to follow what the courts issue? |
These are DEI states. |
Of course...is this a surprise? |
Brett didn’t have any questions about this did he? |
"A few days after receiving assurances that the buildings in his district were safe, Mr. Cole sat down one on one with Mr. Musk for drinks and cigars"
Cartoon-level villainy. Lighting their cigars with the Constitution. |
Then blue states need to stop sending tax $$. If we have MAGA grift, and no services, then they don’t need federal money. |
