Going to FLA for spring break and would like to buy tickets to see the Yankees play. Are seatgeek, ticketmaster, vivid seats all legit? I don't want to get scammed. |
Yes, they're all fine but vary in amount of fees charged. You can also just buy from the team's official website. |
Seat geek. I like that you can set your search to include all fees. |
They are all legit, but I hate, hate, hate the fees. |
You better hurry up. The regular season starts end of this week, I think. |
Yankees are done with Spring Training as of Tuesday. They are back in NY. I am guessing you mean to see them play the Rays in FL in April? Heads up that they'll be at Steinbrenner Field, a minor league field, b/c of the damage to the other stadium during the hurricane. What you should know is that the capacity is 10,046 so tix may sell out. |
(Tropicana field held 25,000 for Rays games in comparison). |
Ticketmaster is the MLB partner |
Wow out of curiosity I looked at the ticket prices for that series and they’re pretty high, nothing under 150 per ticket on the MLB site. Probably due to demand/having to use the smaller stadium and needing to recoup cost. We usually use tick pic or StubHub for buying tickets. There might be some season-ticket holders that are selling them for less but the closer you get to the date the higher they typically are unless you buy day of. I would keep an eye on it because The limited amount of people the stadium can hold. |
Thank you. Yes, I’m wanting to go to the Yankees and it’s going to be close to $1000 for our whole family, but also cool that it’s in such a small stadium. |
I think no one really goes for the rays. They are going for the Yankees. |
Yes- it was just being pointed out that the capacity for the Rays (who the Yankees will be playing) is half the amount it was last year so half the amount of tickets available – which will drive demand/price. |
TY. |
The Red Sox tickets are $40 maybe I'll go to that game instead. Wow, huge difference. |
I get stubhub tickets to Nats games in the 300s and 200s an hour before first pitch for 25 bucks all the time. |
