The Studio - Seth Rogan show on Apple TV

I started the April shows coming thread....I am excited for this one. I love Seth Rogan - Longshot is my favorite movie. This one could be good and I wanted to recommend it. Also stars Catherine O'Hara, Kathryn Hahn, and Ike Baronholtz (from Mindy Project).

Matt Remick is the newly appointed head of Continental Studios; desperate for celebrity approval, he and his executive team at the movie studio must juggle corporate demands with creative ambitions as they try to keep movies alive and relevant.

My 16 year old is interested in Hollywood and movie-making - if anyone has seen the show please let me know if you think a 16 year old would like it.

He loves Severance, superhero shows, How I Met Your Mother....not at all delicate about what we show him but I draw the line at glorifying sexual violence or long, really explicit sex scenes.

It was funny! Fun story, love LA. I think a 16 year old would like it but they curse a lot.

I was excited for this since I loved The Offer. I was underwhelmed by The Studio, but I'm not a Seth Rogan person.

I like it a lot. I enjoy the Hollywood/LA backdrop for series though i.e. Entourage, Curb Your Enthusiasm, etc.

I just watched it and was hysterical.

It makes me sad though, a little. I live in LA and the film industry is so diminished and the fires ravaged the city. It's not the finest moment.
