Can Maryland schools please keep spring break in April?

Detach it from the week before Easter and have it the 1st full week of April. The only questionable years are when that would only be 1 week apart.
In 2026 spring break should be the week of April 6-10 (which is the week after Easter).

The reason this post is being made is because Washington DC has planned their spring breaks of 2027 and 2029 to be in March in anticipation of what Maryland schools will do.
For 2027 and 2029 make the break no earlier than the week after Easter since it is very early those years. For a while it's been a given that DC would have their spring break around Emancipation Day (April 16) a DC only holiday but teachers with kids that live in Maryland and teach in DC or vice versa have apparently LOST their minds and inflated the survey by aligning spring break to Easter which shifts from year to year. Having spring break a week earlier is ok but 3 weeks early leaves a long 3-months without much time off other than Memorial Day.
