UCONN threatens to "ruin" sports reporter reporting Dan Hurley's boorish behavior

Anonymous
Coach Dan Hurley is the highest-paid public employee in Connecticut. By far. His $6M salary is off the chart. UCONN's elimination in the second round of March Madness cost him bigtime. A UCONN sports communication official threaten to "ruin the life" of the reporter who caught "the real Dan Hurley" on film. His father, Bob Hurley Sr., must be turning over in his grave.

I don't get it. Is it shocking that an elderly sports coach would use the F-bomb?

Or is that only shocking if he makes $6M a year and has good behavior clauses in his contract?

Sporty people, help me understand!

Bob Hurley, Sr. isn't dead.

UConn rep should be fired for making this threat. It's way worse than the relatively innocuous comment the coach made.

It's thuggish behavior by both Hurley and the communications officer.

If U. Conn tolerates it, it's just an indication that it cares more about sports than its reputation.
