PKEEP program funding — any updates?

| We just got a PK spot at Communikids in Tenleytown through the PKEEP program. They are asking for a commitment by 4 APR, but has anyone heard about the funding getting officially approved by DC? I read it was possibly getting cut. With lottery results coming out Friday, (Thursday night?) this seems like a tight timeline to make a decision. |

| I think it depends on the house passing the dc budget bill. |

| My understanding is that the PKEEP decision won’t be finalized until June. I would ask them if there is a provision in the contract that allows you to pull out this summer if funding doesn’t come through. |
