Not sure what to make of this. Trump says it wasn’t him who invoked the Alien Enemies Act. This is “I didn’t know the guy, I think he brought the coffee” on steroids. Either Trump is lying bigly and doesn’t understand the buck stops with him regardless OR he genuinely doesn’t know and the dementia is advancing rapidly.


President Donald Trump pleaded ignorance on Friday over a document with his name on it that invoked the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 and led to the deportation of hundreds of immigrants to El Salvador.
“I don’t know when it was signed because I didn’t sign it,” he told reporters, adding that “other people handled it.”

Trump is not in the office and not in charge. He needs to keep his fat @$$ in DC and be President. His staff is covering for him. Dementia Don needs to stop with the staged golf tournaments and do his job.

This is very good news. It means that at least for now he doesn’t want to push the “I don’t care about court orders” and cause a constitutional crisis. For now.


I am assuming that on this issue, he is hearing from prominent Rs not to go there. One can hope, right? Anyone have scoop?

How is POTUS claiming he “doesn’t know” how a proclamation in his name was signed a win?

Do we just discount all of the documents on the White House website as he may or may not have signed them?

Because this story has been eclipsed by the Signal chat accidentally leaked to a reporter. There is always another even more awful story the next day.
