I can’t believe this nostalgic baseball film got 100% on rotten tomatoes - wondering if RT is rigged? Also no audience score as it claims fewer than 50 viewers have scored it while our one movie theater showing was jam packed.

One of the worst movies I have ever seen - there were a few laughs but deeply unsatisfying movie. No character development, not much of a plot apart from last baseball game to be played on a field in NE to be reallocated as a school, dialogue was flat and disjointed and it went nowhere. The one interesting thing was learning about the Eephus pitch strategy but even that did not really go anywhere.

Am I missing something? What did others think of it?

Today was Nationals opening day of the season. Might get some more traction as baseball season heats up
