How much money has DOGE really saved?
There are many government employees on administrative leave and getting paid but not doing any work. Contracts have been cancelled and then rescinded because the cancellation was illegal. How do we find out the true amounts that are being saved and not all the lies and fake news? |

| WSJ and NYTimes have been reporting it. Both orgs reached out to DOGE with discrepancies, and so now they aren't being as forthright. But, NYT broke the coding for the website, and was able to piece together the data. They called the orgs listed to confirm and the savings were off by a huge margin. I saw it on IG NYTOpinion if you don't subscribe. You can see WSJ with an Apple News subscription. WSJ was a few weeks ago, while NYT was this week. |

DOGE is straight up lying.
NO, there are not millions of social security checks going out to people over 150 years old. NO, we aren't spending billions on "condoms for Gaza" or "transgender mouse studies" or "drag shows for epileptic dwarves in Uzbekistan" or whatever other ludicrous nonsense they keep claiming they are finding. DOGE is a complete mess, they are costing more than they are saving. They are dysfunctional, incompetent and even worse bureaucrats than the people they claim to be targeting. |
