Everyone I talk to assumes that Trump and Elon have some elaborate Friday going on. That only ignoble intentions can result in socially understandable outcomes.

It is entirely possible that they believe they are acting for the greater good, just as much as the DEI pro trans crowd think their good intentions means they are immune from evil behavior.

When white DEI advocate thinks discrimination against Asian immigrants is a small price to pay for historical injustices, they create new injustices for very little benefit.

Similarly when Elon takes a chainsaw to our government, he cuts expenses but creates even greater costs on our society.

People have to stop believing that their political ends are so noble that it justifies whatever means they use to achieve those ends.

This is why people are so sick of both sides.

I respect your opinion, but I disagree- I think trumpet and Elmo are motivated by revenge and shame. They have no end game, like Hitler, they know they will be ruined and so they will charge forward until they destroy themselves. There are no good intentions, just shame and revenge.

Nice title, it pretty much sums up my opinion of the Democrats platform: empty empathy and faux rage. You might want to look at your analysis though. Look at what Democrats espouse then look at what they do, actual end results. Not good.

When they come right out and say things like that they want to "traumatize federal workers" it is clear they don't care about good.

When they can show no evidence whatsoever that superiorly qualified straight white male candidates where rejected in favor of unqualified female, black, gay, latino, asian or other non-white candidates then they are not acting in good faith about DEI.

And how is it that Asian immigrants are supposedly being "discriminated against" when they absolutely dominate the STEM field and other areas with highly disproportionate numbers?
