Maternal fetal health consult prior to conception- Suggestions for doctors?

I suffered a miscarriage this summer and even thought it's my first one, my ob/gyn said I might wish to consult with a maternal/fetal health specialist regarding an underlying condition which I have. Although she doesn't believe it poses a risk she would like me to consult with a spcialist to confirm.

I am a nervous patient and appreciate a doctor who has both excellent clinical skills but also has a good bedside manner.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

I was thinking of Dr. Landy at Georgetown but had heard she might be off putting. I think I'm going to try to consult with Dr. Pinkert since so many have only good things to say about him. Not super convenient in terms of location but if it turns out to be more than just a consult I can reconsider.
