Back in the day, I used to take the 5A from the Herndon-Monroe park and ride to Rosslyn. If I went early enough, it used to take 22 minutes. Then they eliminated the stop at Herndon and then maybe the entire route, to try and force everyone onto the silver line. It takes at least twice as long.
With RTO approaching or already here, any chance they will bring back some of these express routes? |

Doubt it.
In general I am worried about public transit around here. It’s getting cut left and right. |
