| Are you looking for a self contained program? You don't get preference for those based on where you live. Also schools that are great for some kids are not supportive of others. Autism is a very large spectrum. |

| If it's HFA/Aspergers type of profile - Diamond elementary, but you still need to be placed there via IEP, simply being in-bounds is not enough. |

You can get a list of the schools with specialized programs from xminds and you can match against your child's needs
They do provide transport if your child qualifies for a program and I don't know of any neighborhood that will have a program that will go from elementary to middle to high school for the same level of need. |
