IB grading question

My son is at an IB middle school in FCPS. I know that the county grading policy is that retakes are allowed on summative assessments. If the assessment is an IB summative assessment, is he still allowed to retake/redo the assignment? Does anyone know the policy for this?

He should ask his teacher.
