Push them to any cloud storage platform. Or portable hard drive.

This +100. Once app is set up in your phone, you do nothing- everything backs up automatically. Of course, thereare other apps that do this too, but I use Google Photos and love it.

Do you pay extra? I've aready maxed out my free 15GB. I normally just back it up to a hard drive.

Backup to two systems. I made a mistake of backing up only to Google Drive and for some reason it only saved photos and not videos when my photos accidentally got deleted while trying to transfer from my phone to my laptop So I do Microsoft OneDrive as well.

I use DropBox and pay for more storage for a month.

Once home, I back up photos to my laptop and external hard drives, then cancel more expensive subscription level.

OP - are you talking about from an actual camera or a camera phone? Most answers are for a camera phone but I assume you meant an actual camera.

Google photos uses all emails, docs and image for its AI products

Use Apple i cloud or try secure platforms like Proton (journalist favorite).

This is interesting. So can I just get prime for a month - how do you set it up to back up to Amazon photos?

Smart phones - I don't want to carry a laptop overseas and want to just take a carry on for 2 weeks.

Can 1 drop box/Amazon photos/Google photos account be logged into from 4 phone numbers at a time so all our photos get backed up? I want to pay just for the month till we get back and then cancel subscription.

Download the Amazon Photos app. I believe there is an option on there to automatically upload your photos (taken on your phone obv!) automatically as you take them. Super easy and it works really well. I'm a photographer and I use Amazon Photos as cloud storage for my RAW files (this is done via an app on a desktop computer though). It keeps them sorted my date, location, etc

5gb free for non prime members. If you cancel prime, it will only retain the 5gb of photos.
