Shoes for flare jeans

What kind of shoes do you wear with your flare jeans when the weather is warmer? I generally wear boots with a bit of a heel with my flares when it is cooler but I'm stumped on what would work with them for spring and warmer weather.

The obvious answer is Steve Madden platform loafers.

It’s funny I feel like it’s easier in warmer weather to style flare as opposed to winter. Flares With boots look so clunky on those people.

Flip flops. Bring back the late 1990s.

Don’t you remember the 2000s and hemming your flares into two sets of lengths? Casual flares= hemmed to Reef flip flops. Going out/casual office Friday with a blazer flares= hemmed to heels.

Those go with black stretchy flare pants, not jeans.

Omgosh I had completely forgotten about doing that. I’d buy the same jeans in short and long to wear with flip flops and heels, respectively.

I also had these awesome fake cheetah fur ballet flats that I loved. Ah, youth.

I wear either black heels or heeled boots with mine

This is the only answer.

Flip flops for flare or boot cut.
Boots for boot cut.
Most anything for straight to slightly tapered.
Just avoid the skinny jean highly tapered nonsense completely.
