Looking to take my mom to a really nice destination spa in Arizona for a few days. Anyone have intel on the best ones? |
Mii Amo at enchanted resort. It's really amazing |
Enchantment - near Sedona |
My favorite spa in the Scottsdale area was at The Phoenician. Huge facility with a rooftop pool only open to those with spa appointments that gives a much calmer vibe than the main resort pool.
If it’s in your budget, Canyon Ranch Tucson or Castle Hot Springs would be amazing spa getaway destinations. |
Budget? |
I love The Phoenician spa. |
Miraval in Tucson is amazing. Its all inclusive and includes credit for spa sessions. They have activities all day long including hiking, fitness classes, yoga and meditation or you can just enjoy the mountain scenery and relax by the pools. Its my favorite destination. |
I'm actually trying to plan a quick trip to AZ in May. I was looking at the Wilde in Sedona, but this caught my eye. I picked a few nights at the Miraval in Tuscon and it said the average/night is $8,075! I thought, oh that means for the four nights I selected. Nope, it was $25,000 for four nights. Seriously? You spend that kind of money to go to Tuscon? |
I will host you at my mom’s house in the foothills and cook from scratch meals and bring in a masseuse for half that. They are right at the base of the mountains and you can walk outside for excellent hiking plus golf on site. (Jk, kind of). |
