The ceasefire they signed prohibited attacks like this even if they were in between Phase 1 and Phase 2 and a Phase 2 hasn't been fully agreed upon.
Israel claims that they give a "heads up" before air strikes but not sure how that could have been done in the middle of the night while people were sleeping. They struck hospitals, schools and highly populated areas, 400 killed. Just tragic. https://apnews.com/live/latest-updates-israel-launches-new-wave-of-airstrikes-across-gaza-after-ceasefire-talks-stall |
I’m sickened. |
Was always gonna look like this. Israel's goal is to demolish Palestine. Why wouldn't they leverage Trump as an ally - they've never had such an opportunity to do so - they will not stop until they wipe them out. Ironically they are creating a scenario they themselves escaped from with Germans. Except they are now the ones in the wrong and the world won't even try to stop them. I firmly believe however that they will get theirs someday. Not sure how or when or what but they will suffer as they've made the innocent suffer in Gaza. |
So Israel breaks the ceasefire. |
Disgusting. And of course Israel got the permission of the USA first and the USA said sure fine. Easier for Trump to put up his hotels when there’s nothing left.
https://www.nytimes.com/live/2025/03/17/world/israel-gaza-airstrikes Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, said Israel had consulted the White House before launching the strikes. The United States recently conducted a wave of strikes on the Houthi militant group in Yemen, which, like Hamas, is backed by Iran. That group fired missiles and drones at Israel for more than a year as part of the war. |
Remember during the presidential campaign when these threads would be overtaken by trolls and bots and run to hundreds of pages in hours?
Whatever happened to all the American voters for whom this was the defining issue of the election? |
Because for Zionists this is the best thing that could happen. |
Hiding in embarrassment, because it was blatantly obvious that this was going to happen with Trump. |
Netanyahu operates a "Facts on the Ground" strategy. He likes taking irreversible actions and then expecting people to negotiate under the new practical reality instead of retaliate on principle. The people he is fighting believe in their principles, though. As he continues his genocide, they will muster to give him one back. The only question is if they'll get enough funding and logistical support for it, and if their allies can afford it.
It's one thing to live in a dusty shack and hear stories of the evil Zionist next door who killed your countrymen keep you poor. It's quite another to see your own children's body parts strewn across town. |
Israel was supposed to pull out of many key locations in Gaza as part of P1, the Philadelphia Corridor being one of them, they still haven't.
I mean like we can keep lying to ourselves about who keeps violating the signed agreement. Ask the Native Americans about peace treaties with the U.S. government. |
Anyone else feel like all of this is heading towards Trump being tried internationally? |
No, they are celebrating that Trump is giving them revenge on America. They knew Palestine would never survive. Like every other Trump constituency, they have given up on hope for themselves, and love how he's hurting the people they hate. |
Take hostages, try to extort concessions, refuse to release hostages, insist on the hostage-takers remaining in power. Seems like a good strategy. Or maybe not. |
Gaza was being demolished under the Biden admin. Harris was more of the same. People who cared about the ethnic cleansing either took a flyer on Trump as an "anti-war" candidate (which was obviously BS) or they abstained from voting. |
Netanyahu first -- Israel has been committing a genocide for over a year against defenseless civilians. |
