#KingofKings and #LordofLords

Never thought about these phrases since I quit choir after 6th grade. But noticed them trending in X. Wow. Quite a community.

Anyway, saw a Gov. Wes Moore interview on some TV channel and he said:

I believe there is a King of Kings and Lord of Lords, BUT HE DOESN'T LIVE IN THE WHITE HOUSE.

Love it.

Humans tend to be comforted by the idea of a benevolent all-powerful being, as evidenced by their creations of so many religions with such beings, but their natural desire for self-determination tend to conflict with the actual embodiment of such an entity when it takes human form and claims ultimate power. Jesus was tolerated because he was humble and poor and preached love and forgiveness (and then he was murdered by some other people).

But Trump? The vain, foolish, mendacious, petty, spiteful personage who spreads a message of hate and vindictiveness?

Ha ha ha ha.

I saw it. Moore had just come from church. Sincere.

Calling Trump the Christ is imo not good. He's practically a graven image.

Well, lots of his supposedly religious followers know he's an atheist and don't care.
