EZ pass charges

We recently traveled on the I-95, with 3 persons in the car and our transponder set to HOV. We were still charged. Has anyone successfully disputed this charge? Has this happened to anyone else?

I did contact them but I have doubts about whether they are going to refund the money so hoping to get tips. I can't be the only person this has happened to, can I ?

I've only gotten the warning, but someone on here before has said it happens often to them and they get the charges reversed every time.

I've started making my kids leave at the cameras. No idea whether that helps or not.

You make no sense. You contacted them, they said they will remove the charges, but you don't believe them? What "tips" are you expecting to get here? You sound very unhinged. Also, you know damn well this is your fault for not sliding that little door over on your transponder like you;re supposed to do. It never fails.

Next time you call them, say "klaatu baratd nikto." This should get you access to top tier support who will refund your charges immediately.

Switch your transponder off HOV and then back onto HOV and see if it beeps. If not, then the battery is dead and you need a new transponder (contact EZ pass). In my case, I used the info from EZ pass and filled out an online claim with 95 Express lanes and eventually got a refund. This was last year.
