BREAKING—The United States Institute of Peace (USIP) office was just on lockdown for close to an hour while members of the DOGE team tried to enter the building, multiple people have told me. Security has now escorted out remaining staffers who’ve been told to telework until further notice.

I thought it was a retirement home for former spooks? Are these really the people they want to harass, both because of their service to the country and potential blowback?

I winder what percent of this charity’s budget comes from taxpayers vs charitable donations.

It is funded by congress, but separate and and has its own mandate so the order is illegal.

It has an excellent mission and, because Trump is a moron, "The Institute for Peace is being targeted, in part, because officials believe it is a highly partisan organization, with its employees contributing to the Democratic Party."

WHy not just get rid of the DoD since most if its members contribute to the Republican party?
