yea, that's still good. My DC from a magnet 2 years ago was flat out rejected -- very high stats. |

| Accepted into Dietrich. Small public school in Frederick County. 4.7 GPA, 33 ACT. He put a lot of sweat equity into his common app essay. Likely made the difference I would guess. Rejected UChicago RD after EA deferral. No surprise there of course |

| DD accepted Psychology - 4.68/4.0/790M/740V. Just got WL at WashU so this was a wonderful surprise. I honestly think she's more of a fit at WashU but her CMU essays were stronger and more personal so maybe that made the difference? |
