Is Indeed the place to go for a beltway tech job?

Cleared Fed GS15 type here who is almost at the last straw. Is Indeed.com the place for me to go and wait for the calls to pour in?

Decades ago it was monster and dice. I have no idea what’s the right place now.

The calls will pour in. I took my phone number off because I was getting so much recruiter spam. Indeed and dice. But they're not good jobs. My network is where I'm getting good interviews from.

With thousands of layoffs, do you think we have the option to be picky for good jobs as a 40+ tech person??

Based on my experience over the last month, I do. Can't speak for anyone else.

“Tech person” is pretty vague. It depends which technical skills you have. I’d say server/PC/network admins will have a hard time, too many of those. I think coding jobs might be easier to get depending on which languages you know.
