U-Dub typically rolls out over a couple of weeks in March.
Check a few years of its Common Data Set (C2) to get a sense of how much the WL usually moves. https://www.washington.edu/opb/uw-data/external-reporting/common-data-set/ In 2023, it moved a lot: 7,915 offered spots on the WL; 4,122 took them; and 2,985 were admitted. But look at a few other years to see whether that's an outlier. |

| CS OOS is an impossible admit and really difficult for in-state, but for everything else the waitlist will move. I’m in Seattle and will try to check in here later I’d questions pop up. |

OOS from Texas, 3.9 UW GPA. Amazing ECs. Essays were excellent. Accepted to UVA, Michigan….but denied at UW…Econ weird…. |

| They did you a favor - DO NOT GO!! It's super competitive to get into a major and not gaurenteed. Most of my friends had to switch out to do their desired major. |
